Char Magaro installed a geo-thermal system to reduce energy use during hot and cold periods, all of the electricity for the restaurant is wind powered; these two aspects create an environment that has a minimal carbon 'foot-print.' The equipment is energy efficient, and all waste products will be recycled, including organics. Every effort was made during construction and design to create an interior that reflects a "green" consciousness, down to the bamboo flooring.
